Dogs are welcome at The Lost Manor
At the Lost Manor we are extremely dog friendly. We are very happy to welcome well behaved dogs. To ensure that everyone can have a fun filled holiday we ask you to follow a few simple rules (which can be found at the bottom of the page).
Your dog can be let off the lead to explore our 5 acre gardens and field, provided they are under your control.
The Lost Manor and North Devon are perfect for your doggy holiday. There are plenty of dog walks and dog friendly attractions for you to explore. Fabulous beaches such as Saunton Sands are dog friendly all year round as are the local pubs.
Bringing a dog - terms and conditions
We love dogs. We like dogs coming to stay. Not all dogs are suitable for the Lost Manor though and so we don’t always take them. If your dog is reactive please note there will be staff servicing the Lost Manor in the grounds during your stay, daily pool checks, gardeners etc. We live on site and have a dog.
Charges
There is a charge per property of £50 per dog per stay.
When the dogs are here
- They may be walked off the lead in our dog field but not otherwise let off the lead outside.
- Dogs are not permitted in our yoga studio, snooker room, outdoor pool area or gym.
- They may not go upstairs. They are not allowed on our duvets or linen in any circumstances. They must sleep in the large utility area by the back door
- They are not allowed on the sofas.
- They must be clean inside the property and if you bring a muddy dog back from a walk, please clean them off using the outside hose and dog towel provided. Please do not use any towels provided for our human guests.
- Owners must clean up after them outside and bagged and disposed of in the bin area.
- They must not be left alone in a property unless they are suitably crated or will not become distressed
- They must not bark excessively.
- When you leave please remove as much dog hair and dirt as possible; if properties require serious additional cleaning we will have to charge an extra £50 cleaning fee to cover the cost. We will charge for any damage caused by them.
Reassurance
If this all sounds a bit formal don’t worry too much. If you are a considerate, well-trained owner everything will be fine!
